Bah, computers! I spent Friday night fixing my computer from a windows blue screen. "Unmountable boot volume" were the words I watched probably 30 times come up on the screen when I wanted to start my computer. I know, it's four years old and in "computer age" that's really old. So what did I do immediately? Call my mom. She's great at finding troubleshooting information. Following her directions and some other tidbits from the windows/dell websites I was able to recover my computer. Then, I promptly backed up everything important. Moral of the story: back up your computer frequently!
In other news, I spent the day on Saturday catching up with Claire, my roommate from college. It's great to have her so close by in Raleigh. We even stopped in a bridal shop to look at dresses. I got some ideas, but no dress really stuck out to me.
I suppose I should do my homework: reading "Deconstructing the cadherin-catenin-actin complex" sounds like great fun...
