Today we went to the North Carolina museum of life and science. It's less than a mile away from our apartment and we figured it was time we visit. I would describe it as a combination of a science museum and a zoo. They had a really sweet exhibit of space and NASA. Apparently some famous astronauts have come from NC so they have inherited a lot of cool things. One of them is one of the first moon landing pods that collected a lot of samples and data from the moons surface.
They also had a cool wind exhibit, but since there is never wind in Durham the sailboats weren't as exciting as they could have been. We both thought back to the sailboats at centennial lakes. Ah the good ole days.
Of course the animals were really cool. The sheep were particularly curious about us.
So we had a great time and hope to visit more NC things while we're living here.

Allie! I have a blogger blog now! Aren't you happy for me??
Btw "Durham" was an answer on the crossword today.
That is a good example of things to see and do while you are out there on the East coast, I'm sure that there are tons of other things close enough to see as well in other states too.
I have always regreted not seeing more of Texas while living there for nearly a year when we were first married...
Good pictures also, post more...
Okay, I mislead you. My blogger blog is for my Ed classes, so it's not really going to be interesting to anyone outside of the program / education. However, I'm just excited that I can comment effectively on your blog. If you want regular life-stuff posts, check my xanga.
